 quigley the quiet hedgehog

A children's book series empowering the quiet temperament of the introverted child
and teaching the world that quiet is okay
By Claudine Norden
Illustrated by Bonnie Wiegand

Quigley the Quiet Hedgehog is a story about a self-confident, assertive hedgehog who enjoys reading, creating, adventures, friends, and solitude. In a world where the extrovert ideal is celebrated, Quigley stands up for the introvert and demonstrates finding freedom in serenity. Aimed at preschool and elementary school children ages 2-10, this colorful storybook series with hand-painted illustrations encourages the quiet temperament at home, at school, and in social situations. Quiet, introverted children are often not affirmed that being quiet is okay. In a culture where loud and exuberant has mistakenly been equated with what is socially acceptable, it’s time to explore and celebrate the thoughtful, introspective view of the world as seen through the eyes of the quiet child.
